Doctrinal Statement

In issuing credentials to those called of God, we are saying to the world that these persons have supplied to us adequate recommendation and evidence that they are truly God’s Ministers, engaged in His work.

We accept the whole Bible as our declaration of faith.

There is one God, maker of all things, being in Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Son of God, Jesus Christ, became incarnated, was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man.

The Bible in its entirety is the inspired Word of God and only infallible rule of faith and conduct.

There will be resurrection of the dead, eternal happiness of the saved and eternal punishment of the lost.

There is personal salvation of believers through the blood of Christ.

There needs to be sanctification by the blood of Christ, personal holiness of heart and life and preparation from the world.

There is divine healing through faith, and that healing is included in the atonement.

The Baptism of the Holy Ghost, accompanied by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), is distinct from the new birth; and the nine gifts of the Spirit (as listed in I Corinthians 12) are now available to believers.

The Christian’s hope is the imminent personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Intensive world evangelism; missionary work; Christian education and benevolent institutions; Christian literature and publications, with signs following is in accordance with the Great Commission. Mark 6:9-20

The American Evangelistic Association will not add to nor take away from the Word of God concerning these issues; i.e. same sex marriage, abortion, sharia law, chrislam or any other issues which conflict with Biblical standard listed in the Old and New Testament of the King James Version of the Bible. Rev. 22:18-19

Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today and forever. Heb. 13:8

Our Heritage

This We Believe

We believe the Holy Spirit and only the Holy Spirit is the Vicar of Christ on Earth, and only He has the wisdom and knowledge to direct the Church in fulfilling the ministry of Christ on Earth.

Christ did not come to establish an ecclesiastical empire, to accumulate vast holdings of real estate, physical wealth or political power.

There is no place in the true Church for any “lords over God’s heritage.” Let him that is greatest among us become the servant of all.

A God-called, Holy Spirit-anointed, Christ-exalting ministry is a greater demand than ever before in human history.

Our Calling and High Purpose

The American Evangelistic Association was called into being in 1954, to advance and hold secure these Biblical principles for our time:

  •  We believe the highest authority of the Church on Earth is in the Local Assembly, in matters of discipline and conduct.
  • We believe that Christ is the sovereign Head of the Church and that each Minister is held in His hand and are under His direct control.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is in residence on this Earth, in the lives of Believers, and that He is the Vicar of Christ who speaks of Christ, and for Christ, and directs the entire Church of the Lord Jesus Christ on Earth through each Minister and each local Assembly.

These beliefs we have epitomized in this statement:

We believe in the Headship of Christ, Leadership of the Holy Spirit and Fellowship of Saints; that while helps governments are Scriptural, their justification for existence is in serving the Local Ministry and the Local Assembly by giving recognition to what God, in His sovereignty, has already done.
